I am Chanell Ketchmore, and I started my nonprofit organization, Ketchmore Kids, 16 years ago with no team, no money, and no professional guidance. For 10 years, I worked full-time in the Social Work field, while I ran Ketchmore Kids part-time. All the while, the calling on my life to help others grew louder and stronger.
I thought to myself "but I already help others, and have been doing so for over 10 years". Despite this, I could not ignore the CALLING ON MY LIFE TO HELP OTHERS! So, in 2005 I resigned from my position as a Child Services Social Work Supervisor. I left a job I loved, to STEP FULLY INTO A PURPOSE I WAS DESTINED TO FULFILL.
Since 2005 I have served thousands of youth and families, employed myself and others, operated in 2 states & multiple cities, secured almost 7 figures in funding, and more!
